EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES COMMUNICATION & WORKS DEPARTMENT GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB

Communication & Works Department intends to establish Project Implementation Unit (PIU) under Asian Development Bank funded “Flood Emergency Reconstruction & Resilience Project (FERRP).. Applications are invited from suitable candidate on contract basis for following posts. They will be offered market based salary.

Name of Post: Computer , Operator
Age Limit: Maximum age 33 Years
Salary: Pay Rs.32000/7 per month (Lump-sum)
Qualification & Experience:
• Intermediate in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized institute and having a minimum of one year’s post qualification experience as computer operator / file management.
• Excellent command in MS Office Package.
• In case of selection of departmental official, his / her appointment will be made by transfer. • Persons domiciled in province of the Punjab are eligible to apply.
• Should have clear service record.
• NOC is required from the present employer.

Name of Post: Driver
Age Limit: Maximum age 40 Years
Salary:  Pay Rs.19000/- per month (Lump-sum)
Qualification & Experience:
• Literate / Middle.
• Valid LTV driving license holder and well versed in the traffic rules, must be able to drive different vehicles, and must be able to work under pressure and for long duty hours, willing to move in field especially in remote areas.
• 3-5 year experience in driving.
• In case of selection of departmental official, his / her appointment will be made by transfer. • Persons domiciled in province of the Punjab are eligible to apply.
• Should have clear service record.
• NOC is required from the present employer.

Name of Post: Office Boy
Age Limit: Maximum age 35 Years
Salary: Pay Rs.16000/- per month (Lump-sum)
Qualification & Experience:
• Literate.
• Should have experience of different office environment.
• In case of selection of departmental official, his / her appointment will be made by transfer.
• Persons domiciled in province of the Punjab are eligible to apply.
• Should have clear service record
• NOC is required from the present employer.

Name of Post: Security Guard
Age Limit: Maximum age 50 Years
Salary: Pay Rs.16000/- per month (Lump-sum)
Qualification & Experience:
• Literate / retired army ex-service personnel.
• Must have relevant experience.
• Should have Personal arms and valid license.
• In case of selection of departmental official, his / her appointment will be made by transfer.
• Persons domiciled in province of the Punjab are eligible to apply.
• Should have clear service record.
•NOC is required from the present employer.

Name of Post: Sweeper 
Age Limit: Maximum age 35 Years
Salary: Pay Rs.16000/- per month (Lump-sum)
Qualification & Experience:
• Literate.
• Must have relevant experience of office environment and cleaning.
• In case of selection of departmental official, his / her appointment will be made by transfer.
• Persons domiciled in province of the Punjab are eligible to apply.
• Should have clear service record.
• NOC is required from the present employer.

General Information:
1. The last date for submission of application is 08-04-2016. Application received after the closing date will not be entertained.
2. The name of post must be clearly written on envelope at the top right comer otherwise the application will not be considered.
3. In case a candidate applies for more than one post, separate envelope and application should be used for each post.
4. The above positions are on contract basis, for a period of two (02) years (extendable upto 03 Years).
5. These positions are open to both public and private sector candidates. Government employees are eligible to apply through proper channel. In case of selection of Department candidates, pay and project allowance shall be admissible as per Finance Department notification date21-11-2014
