Ministry of IT and Telecom is in search of a dynamic IT professional against a MP-l Scale assignment of Executive Director, National Information Technology Board (NITB) in order to spearhead government IT and E-Governance related initiatives. The candidates are also required to demonstrate high end leadership skills to maximize the potential of the professional IT team at their best in order to engender an holistic ecosystem, based on accelerated digitization in the country.

Conditions to Apply:

The candidate must have Master’s degree (16 years) in Computer Sciences Information Technology. Computer Engineering Or a Bachelors degree (16 years) in Computer Sciences. Information Technology and Computer/Software Engineering.

Candidates having Masters in Technology Management or MBA shall be preferred. if found suitable.

As a mandatory requirement, Candidates must possess 15 years post requisite qualification/degree experience in the IT Sector including five (05) years at senior management level positions.

Maximum age limit is 50 years from the date of advertisement. DOB should be mentioned in the application/CV.

Other Conditions:

8- In case of selection, candidates working in public/private sector will have to either resign or seek retirement from their posts/service before joining the new assignment. NOC from present employer, in case of Government servant is mandatory at time of applying.

b- The initial period of contract is two years (expendable).
c- The position offers salary package / benefits as admissible to Government MP1 scale.
