POSITION VACANT
RESEARCH FELLOW IN CHEMISTRY
Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the appointment on the following position at National Centre of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, University of Sindh, Jamshoro under the Pak-US Science and Technology Cooperation Program sponsored by Higher Education Commission Project No. 6-6/Pak-US/HEC/2015/06 entitled “Empowering of Pakistani Women through translational research in the sciences: Waste-to-Energy Conversion, and Water Purification Technology development” with the following terms and conditions.
Type of Position: Temporary for two years (two positions)
Salary: Rs.20,000/- per month with annual increment of Rs. 5000/-.
Qualification and Experience: M.Phil./MS in Chemistry and its allied fields, Chemical and Petroleum Engineering (18 years of education) from HEC recognized University/Institute. Working experience in preparation of carbon based materials for catalysis and as sorbent will be asset.
Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for the management of onsite experiments, data collection, report writing and other day to day activities assigned by the Principal Investigator. Meetings with academic and industrial partners and finding opportunities for commercialization of products from the project.
