CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
The National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDCL) incorporated under the Companies Ordinance 1984. NTDCL owns and operates the high voltage transmission system in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The company employs a staff of over nine thousand that is engaged in managing the transmission network that extends into all the provinces of the country and the AJK.
The company is looking for a high caliber, experienced individual for the position of Chief Financial Officer on contract basis. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will head the Finance Department of the Company and will report to Managing Director (MD) and the Board of Directors for all the functions of his position.

Tenure
Three years (extendable on satisfactory performance), 6 months’ probation

Qualifications and Experience

• The candidate must be a qualified Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) or Fellow Cost & Management Accountant (FCMA)
• 10 years post qualification relevant experience in senior financial management position in listed companies or public sector companies. Applicants having power sector experience will be preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Existing employees of NTDCL fulfilling the aforesaid criteria are encouraged to apply for the position

Functions and Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of the financial and accounting functions of the organization.
• Manage change and induct best corporate financial and accounting systems in the Company
• Develop an effective team of subordinates who understand and are able to discharge the obligations of their positions.
• Develop financial performance measures to evaluate financial performance of the company.
• Deal with regulatory affairs, formulation of tariff, and preparation and presentation of tariff petitions before NEPRA.
• Assist the MD, Board of Directors, and Audit Committee of the Board in review of financial performance and management. and formulation of policies for financial management.

  Remuneration and Age
  Market-based remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience of the candidate
  Maximum age 55 years on the date of this advertisement.
